G-7 BeaSt

SGM

The G·7 BeaSt (BeamStrobe) reinvents the moving head concept by implementing two completely different light sources in the same fixture. Its design is based on three major features: a bright throw with full optical control, the ability to expand the beam angle while keeping the light output, and a powerful pixel strobe blinder that boosts the punch.

By combining these three revolutionary solutions, multiple design possibilities appear, including versatile fat-beams, mesmerizing aerial scenes, excellent eye-candy effect, and impressive strobe/pixel/blinder.

Description

The G-7 BeaSt is a dual-purpose moving head specialized in aerial beams and high-power blind / strobe effects.

Its glass parabolic reflector collimates multiple reflections into one coherent beam of light, while a rounded array of LEDs, inserted in the center of the reflector, delivers a high-power white strobe blinder. Due to its wide lens aperture, projection capabilities, and outstanding direct view effect, the G-7 BeaSt creates an innovative system specially interesting for long-throw applications, high-scale tours, and versatile installations.

Optics
The G-7 BeaSt mounts a special optical system based on multiple reflection collimation over a glass parabolic reflector. This system allows the unit to output a powerful parallel beam of light with a 320mm (11″) lens aperture. The strobe blinder consists in multiple lightsources with individual lenses inserted in the center of the reflector, optimized for direct view applications.

Photometrics
With a beam light output of 70,000 lux at 10 meters, and a strobe blind effect able to reach 50,000 lumen, the G-7 BeaSt offers a performance way above of its size. When the beam and the strobe / blinder are used together, the fixture is able to keep the same lux values with a 10,000 lumen blinder effect.

Aerial FX
The G-7 BeaSt features an unique aerial projection, thanks to its bright parallel beam of light, 6 rotatable gobos, expandable beam throw, and special animation effects. This product has been optimized for high visibility, and therefore it is ideal for long-throws that need to be seen from a distance.
